We are a polymath review of poetry, art, philosophy & mythology.

Revue {R}évolution honors the experience of Transcendence and Truth expressed with Elegance in Poetry, Art, Philosophy, and Mythology. We publish the work of those of us, Poets, Artists, Deep-thinkers & Storytellers who strive to express Sattva.

Whatever the form, we only publish excellent poetry-art. We cherish the original Latin meaning of "excellent," excellere; surpassing or transcending. We want erudites, skilled thought-and wordsmiths, poets and artists with a vision.

Literary translation

• While we realize that negativity is a common human experience, we do not publish self-mortifying poetry/art, which includes (self-)loathing, depressive, angry, obscure, or cryptic literature/art. We only publish transcendental literature/art: epic, in the philosophical and metrical sense; triumphant and luminous like the soul; lyrical.
• As of January 2023, we do not publish free verse anymore.
• We do not publish works posted on social media. 
• We do not publish profanities or erotic literature.
• Unless you are a Japanese-speaking writer, a Zen disciple and a translator all at once, do not send us haikus.
• We do not publish activist literature or prose on social justice.
